افاد مصدر حقوقي عن مقتل عدد من الاشخاص برصاص الامن في "جمعة الجيش الحر يحميني" التي دعا اليها ناشطون وخرج فيها المتظاهرون في عدد من المدن السورية. وذكر المرصد السوري لحقوق الانسان في بيان "استشهد شاب اثر اطلاق رصاص عشوائي من قبل قوات الامن في حي العرفي في دير الزور (شرق)".

من جهته، نفى التلفزيون السوري وقوع قتلى في دير الزور وحمص مؤكدا "انها انباء لا اساس لها من الصحة وهو تحريض على القتل". واورد التلفزيون السوري الرسمي نبا مقتل "طفل بانفجار عبوة ناسفة زرعها الارهابيون في تفتناز" الواقعة في ريف ادلب (شمال غرب).

وفي المنطقة نفسها، ذكر المرصد ان "مظاهرة حاشدة خرجت من عدة مساجد في مدينة معرة النعمان تطالب باسقاط النظام" مشيرا الى "استمرار انقطاع الانترنت والاتصالات الخليوية عن المدينة لليوم العاشر على التوالي".

واضاف "خرجت مظاهرات في بلدات سرمين وحزانو والتح وتفتناز تطالب باسقاط النظام". وفي محافظة درعا (جنوب)، ذكر المرصد ان "قوات الامن اطلقت الرصاص الحي امام مساجد مدينة جاسم لمنع خروج المصلين في مظاهرات". وفي حمص (وسط)، شهدت المدينة "انتشارا امنيا كثيفا قبل صلاة الجمعة على الحواجز العسكرية في معظم شوارع المدينة كما شهدت بعض الأحياء تعزيزات عسكرية كبيرة". بحسب المرصد.
